The Clog

According to Real Simple, clogs are coming back. Really? Like, really they  are?

When I hear the word “clog” my mind immediately goes back to middle school when my friend Shannon would wear them. Shannon was an actual clogger - you know, the people that dance - and she had a way of pulling them off, especially for a middle schooler (I was always a little jealous of Shannon in middle school - her style was great and all, but mostly I just wanted her 7th grade boyfriend to be mine. Haha).

I’m pretty sure the clog trend won’t last long. Everything right now seems so light and airy and ruffly (is that a word?) and I just don’t see how clogs even work. I, of course, am not a fashion expert by any stretch of the imagination. But, I do think they are ugly. I wouldn’t even know what outfit to wear clogs with. And, I would probably break my ankle within the first two hours of trying to pull them off.

Any thoughts?
