After a full day of labor, Becca & Jarrod welcomed Zeda Lyn into this world. She is huge! 9lbs, 9 oz and 21 1/2 in long! And she is soo cute!
I have been living vicariously through Becca’s sister, Jarrod, Cheri, facebook and the Murdaugh’s blog in order to keep up with every second of this amazing event. She is beautiful, just like her momma. I know that Becca & Jarrod will be awesome parents and I hope that I can participate in Zeda’s life, even if I do live so far away. I am so happy for them!
Its one thing to know people that have babies, but its an entirely new experience to watch your best friend grow into a mom. The emotions of it caught up with me today when I called Becca to leave a message. As soon as I heard her voice on her voicemail, I started losing it. It makes you stop and thank God for life and for taking such good care of those who are close to us. Life is precious.
I pray that Zeda grows up to be a beautiful, smart, independent, generous and God-loving woman. I think that Becca will be the perfect role model for those very characteristics.
Congrats, guys! And welcome to our world, Zeda Lyn! I can’t wait to meet you! Much Love!
